Hi MACS family!! My name is Elsa Carrasco.  This is the beginning of my fourth year at MACS and my 34th year teaching. I have taught every graade level from K-7th grade. I temporarily left education and discovered that my heart belongs to children and teaching.  Teaching children to read has become my passion.  Whenever I see students realize that they can read, I know that this is what I should be doing.   I am one of the Reading Interventionists and Gifted and Talented teachers at MACS.  I am so excited to get our year underway and see what wonderful things our students will learn.

I have an amazing daughter and son-in-love in El Paso, Texas.  They have my grandsons, Maximus Prime and Marcus Arelius!  They are the loves of my life!.  

It is my honor and privilege to have the opportunity to work with your children.
