My name is Melinda Breeding and I am glad to be a teacher at the best school in Midland, MACS. This will be my second year to teach here and this year I will be teaching sixth grade math as well as math intervention. I have been a teacher at heart all of my life. As a young girl, I knew without a doubt that I would grow up to have a job doing what I love. I began my teaching career in Midland at Crockett Elementary teaching sixth grade math and science. After several years there, my husband was transferred to Houston and I continued my teaching career in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. When our first son was born, we decided that I would be a stay at home mom. We also decided that we would homeschool our three sons during their elementary years. When all three of the boys entered middle school and high school, I spent several years volunteering in the schools and as a tutor. I then spent two years teaching middle school girls in my home. My husband and I are now empty-nesters, with two of our sons married and our third son in his second year at the University of Tennessee. Therefore, I decided to resume my passion of teaching at school. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with your child this year. Together, we can make this school year the best year ever!
