About Me:

I am a graduate from The University of Texas at Tyler in Education.  I’m starting my 33rd year in education and 17th year at MACS.  I have taught K-2 PE, 6th grade math, and 1st grade in East Texas before moving to Midland and becoming the librarian at Midland Academy Charter School.  I then moved to 3rd grade ELAR/SS, 2nd grade Science, and 3rd grade Science.   Now on to my 2nd year of 4th grade Science!

My grandparents and parents are retired teachers and superintendent, so I come from an educational background. I am a mother to 1 son who has graduated from UTPB as a music major.  He is attending UTA to get his masters in music theory.   I enjoy learning about God, family time, friends, games, music (especially southern gospel), and jigsaw puzzles.
