Brenda Pendleton

Hi, I am Mrs. Pendleton.  I was born and raised in South Dakota.  I graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD in 1987.  I moved to Bakersfield, California where I was a high school science teacher for the Kern High School District for 36 years.  I retired after the 2022-2023 school year to be with my family.  I am coming out of retirement this year to teach 6th grade science at MACS. I'm passionate about helping your child succeed in science and also in life.  I've learned that laughter and smiles are the best tools to succeed in life. I look forward to working with your child.  I was married to the love of my life for 32 years before his passing 3 years ago.  I have 3 grown children (ages 33, 31, and 28), 1 daughter-in-love (age 33), 1 son-in-love (age 33) and 3 grandchildren (ages 9, 4, and 1).
