Hello Everyone!

My name is Melissa Lamon. I have a fiance, Chris, and three children; Zaylee (5th), Aliyah (2nd), and Christopher, who is 4. I have a schnoodle named Rocky who is spoiled! We love to travel and do it often because both of my daughters play travel ball.

This is my very first year of teaching and I am beyond grateful that I am here at MACS! I will be teaching 5th grade RLA/Social Studies. 

I received my Associate of Arts in Teaching, Teacher Education, Multiple Levels from Midland College. I received my Bachelor's degree in Child & Family Studies with a minor in History from the University of Texas-Permian Basin.

Some of my favorite things are Dr. Pepper, the color olive, fun earrings, eating good food, and traveling!

I am very excited about this year and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
