All About Me:

I am a graduate from The University of Texas at Tyler in Education.  This is my 31st year in education.  I have taught K-2 PE, 6th grade math, and 1st grade in East Texas before moving to Midland and becoming the librarian at Midland Academy for four years.  I then moved to 3rd grade ELAR/SS for 2 years and 2nd grade Science for 5 years.  Now this is my 4th year in 3rd grade Science and Social Studies.   

My family, grandparents and parents, are retired teachers and superintendent, so I come from an educational background. I am also a mother to 1 son who is has graduated from UTPB as a music major.  It is wonderful to watch him grow in his music as a composer and into a great young man!  I enjoy family time, friends, games, music (especially southern gospel), and jigsaw puzzles .
