Mr. John Granado

Hello MACS families, my name is Mr. Granado and I have a wide variety of professional experience within education and outside of it. First off I would like to say thanks ahead of time for giving me the opportunity to instruct your children. I have lived in West Texas for most of my life and graduated from Pecos High School back when we still had flip phones. I then continued my education at TCU, Sul Ross State University and eventually Grand Canyon University where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. I joined the National Guard in 2007 where I served for 4 years. I then worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer where I learned of my passion for serving others, especially our youth. During this time I was also an elected School Board member and a CASA volunteer. I then worked towards my teaching certificate and became a teacher. I have 9 years of experience teaching between 4th grade and high school with all subjects. The past 4 years I was also coaching football, basketball, tennis, track, and cross country. I am currently on my Parish Council, and also teaching Catechism this school year.  I am married and have 2 sons, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. My goal is to make a positive impact on my students, and most importantly your children. Let’s have a great year.

My favorite sports teams are:

Dallas Cowboys

Texas Rangers

TCU Horned Frogs

San Antonio Spurs
